Lincoln Park, Seattle

Seagull with lunch at Lincoln Park

Living in Seattle, nature is all around us. This is especially so in West Seattle.  Separated from Seattle metro by a bridge and Elliot Bay, it’s a great place to live, or just visit for a day.  And, it is one of the few places in Seattle that still has free street parking!  One of the most popular places to experience West Seattle is Lincoln Park, where you’ll get a great view of the islands leading out to Puget Sound.  If the mood strikes, you can hop on a ferry to sleepy Vashon Island, or just relax, walk the dog, have a family picnic, and watch the people come and go.  If you’re lucky, you might even spot grey whales or orcas as they visit our waters.
