When in Freiburg, a stop at the farmer’s market is top of my list. Every day from 7am to 1pm, the square surrounding the cathedral fills with vendors selling fresh produce, cheese, locally raised meat, fresh wine and honey… The list goes on and on. Locals meet here to socialize, workers from nearby come to grab a quick lunch, and it’s a must-see for visitors to the city. If I lived in Freiburg, I’d be here every day.
