Le Café des Félins, Besançon

I love cat cafés.  They started in the 1990’s in Taiwan, and flourished in Japan, where many people live in small homes and don’t have space for a cat of their own.  They have since spread to the U.S. and Europe.  In Besançon, France the Café des Fèlins is a cozy, quiet place to sit and sip a cup of tea, a glass of wine, or munch on some delicious house-made treats.  All while enjoying the company of a bunch of four-legged furry creatures who have the run of the place.
